Each ceramic fruit brings a spark of genuine craftsmanship into your home. A unique piece straight from the studio, shaped by fire and smoke.
A high-quality clay, specially selected for this purpose, is used and modeled into ceramic fruits with skilled hands and specially developed tools.
The proportions are based on the natural form – with a fine sense of balance and expression.
The finished pieces are glazed according to a proprietary recipe and heated to a glowing red in the kiln.
The objects now undergo the most intensive part of the production process: the Raku technique. While still glowing hot, they are removed from the kiln and placed in a fireproof, airtight container.
The deprivation of air initiates a fascinating interplay of smoke, heat, and glaze. This creates iridescent, shifting colors, metallic effects, and the finest cracks.
